Moreton-in-Marsh Cricket Club celebrated 150 years in 2006

A proud year to be connected with the club!

In 2006, Moreton-in-Marsh Cricket Club celebrated their 150th anniversary.

To celebrate this we played a special anniversary match against Wellesbourne, had a tour to Spain and played a fixture against the Cross Arrows on the Nursery ground at Lords.




		The ground on a murky day in April As you can see it wasn't the best of days weather wise for our celebratory match, but we all enjoyed this early season match.



		150th Year Celebration This match was played as part of our season of celebrations in our 150th year. The match v Wellesbourne replicated our first fixture all those years ago. The picture is the Moreton team assembled for this match with our scorer Wendy.
